I've said it before but it's fucking weird as shit how people fixate on pedophiles and child porn It's the ultimate smear tactic and "think of the children" move. It's even worse than the red scare in some ways. Actual child rapists are rightfully thought of as the worst and people who you can't be seen as defending, so they try to say their opponents are child rapists or support them.
