hour before

Several things about this don't make sense to me.

1) The first paragraph states this happened on October 10th, which is tomorrow...

2) According to the cops, they allowed Sidney to call his brother using one of their phones. Samid, the brother, claims that he wasn't made aware of the situation until he got a call from an unknown number (which I'm assuming was the cop's number) and then his brother told him about the situation and Samid immediately headed over. Yet Porscha's (the girlfriend) account of the event says she called the brother immediately after getting off the phone with insurance and allowed Sidney (the idiot father) to tell him of the situation at that time. This would have happened well before the cops arrived.

3) Based on the report, the cops must have arrived before the brother did, otherwise there would have been no reason to use the cop's phone. In fact, based on the short second paragraph, they make it seem like the cops broke the window not long after the brother was called and before the brother even arrived. Yet based on the way the brother tells the story, he makes it seem like the two brothers had already had a discussion about taking his shirt of, wrapping it around his hands and breaking the window before the cops even arrived.

Ultimately, the report states that the girl was in the car for an estimated one hour, but there's no mention of how long exactly the cops were on scene before they finally broke the window. In my opinion, the cops should not have hesitated at all once seeing the girl passed out in the back of the car.
