| Flaming_Fire619 10/08/20 3:24:48 PM #1: | Blogfaqs or whatever you say on one of these. So for my entire life I wanted to be a veterinarian. Loved animals, loved working with them, loved the science behind it all. Worked my ass off and actually ended up scoring a spot in one of the top schools in the world. But then I actually sat down and looked at the numbers and they weren't great. I was looking at 300k in debt, moving overseas for minimum 5 years, and id be graduating looking at a job that would pay maybe 70k a year starting if I was lucky. Everyone I talked to said vet was not worth it and I couldn't imagine that level of crippling debt. So I didn't accept the position and pivoted to pharmacy, planning on going to school for that. And...i hate it. Like just absolutely cannot stand this. It's literally everything dull I was trying to avoid in life wrapped up but I just didn't know what else to do. I didn't actually start pharmacy school yet but...idk, I'm just venting here.
