To be frank, I am wildly overpaid and I am the most expendable person on my team. No, I have not lost my job. I have other options within the company. I could very well not have my position be eliminated at all, but I am not a fool. Im cashing out and my last day will be 10/30. Always take the money and run. At least thats my path. Im willing to gamble on myself. Ive got some good stuff lined up, but I might need to lean on my network a bit if those things dont pan out. Thats why I posted this. Ill follow up on this as needed, but I have a final round of interviews tomorrow with a very enthusiastic employer, and another final round of interviews coming for a secondary employer.
