he lied to the country about the threat posed, he deliberately refused to provide sufficient assistance when the virus attacked because he wanted to spin it as the fault of blue state governors, he prioritized federal distribution of medical resources to swing states over states with greater need to the point that MD's governor bought tests with his own money then refused to tell the government where they were located in fear of having them stolen and sent to Florida, he deliberately lied about the appropriate public health responses that his own experts were attempting to publicize, and finally he deliberately exposed others to the virus himself after he caught it.
