Lines have to be drawn on websites where the content is mostly not graphic and extremely popular. If you name a /r/[subreddit] or, an @[twitter handle] that contains porn or graphic content, even without directly linking to it you can get moderated for it. Same as if you told someone to go google [graphic thing].

The site mentioned in the other topic is mostly porn, thus it is handled naming it the same as porn sites.

This isn't extremely complicated, but in most cases I do think warning for naming them outright on a clean history is a bit harsh.

(Note: I did not look at the moderation that started the original topic, so I do not know the mod history of that user.)

So surely there is something out there then that states that certain site is mostly pornography compared to something like reddit which also allows porn?

Thats a slippery slope, you would need to know every sites pornography percentage and whether its over 51%.
