Even if you're of the absolutely ridiculous opinion that it's not deadly to 18-22 year olds, what about the scores of people not in that age range they have to come into contact with? Do the professors not matter? The janitors? Anyone outside the campus that they come into contact with during their commute?

I take a full schedule of entirely online classes. Outside of labs and maybe language courses there's no difference. You wake up and you attend class like an adult. I've actually got more time to do all my work because I don't waste time traveling to and from campus and sitting around between classes. The vast majority of courses have no reason to attend in person, and most kids aren't. My University has instructed professor's to encourage kids to go to class in person because in person attendance is only around 1/10. Most kids do not want to go and don't need to.
