| scar the 1 09/22/20 12:05:07 PM #87: | Similarly people aren't outraged at all when Pentagon funds movies that glorify military service (like Captain Marvel) because to them it's just a depiction of the military but they're outraged af when movies feature women slightly stepping outside of the norm (like Captain Marvel) because that then seems somehow more deliberately political. When actually both things are equally political, it's just that one doesn't challenge norms and the other one does.
