So I just saw the edit with the second person from a Facebook post and they are apparently pretending to be in the game industry to tell people its ok not to buy the game that devs won't get hurt. Claiming they don't get their salary taken away if the game doesn't sell well. This person obviously doesn't know anything about the industry at all because if they did they would know that just because your salary won't get taken away specifically it doesn't mean you won't get laid off or the studio shut down. And considering that happens all the damn time these days, this person clearly has no idea what they are talking about. Its more like they'll tell a lie to make people feel better about not buying the game. But who thinks about the jobs of devs when they consider buying a game? ... Copied to Clipboard! |
