To finish? Nah. I only ever kinda got stuck in two places, and one was me being stupid. The other was the water temple, which I eventually worked my way through.
I dunno, I'll totally argue this. This shouldn't be necessary, but I'll put spoilers just in case anyone somehow both hasn't played this game *and* will in the future. Off the top of my head, stuff that a normal player could totally get stuck on without a guide:

1: Knowing to play saria's song for the goron king in order to progress. I wasted a ton of time exploring literally everywhere else in the world first

2: Knowing how to attract the zora king's attention. Knowing to go to lake hylia to look in the lake for a bottle with ruko's note in it. Same as above

3: Knowing that to get epona you have to pay evil luigi multiple times to just hang out with the horses- you can't get her the first time. Then, you have to be riding epona, z-target luigi, and speak to him. Doesn't work the first time you pay. IIRC epona isn't technically required to beat the game, so this one almost gets a pass.

4: It's established in the fire temple that the hammer is just as good as, if not better than, bombs for blowing up terrain... until it suddenly and quietly isn't anymore, starting with the water temple.

5: Knowing the only way to progress in goron city in the future is to blow up peaceful gorons with bombs

6: Knowing that you can stab through walls with bars, but can't shoot arrows through them.

Granted, I feel like 60% of players might get these by happenstance, but it completely blocks the game for the other 40%. And I could be wrong about one or two, my memory is a tiny bit hazy. The game wants things to be intuitive... it just fails sometimes

There are a couple of walls that have zero hints that they can be blown up except for the sound when you slash them, but i'll give that a pass. I'll also give a pass to anything optional, like golden skulltullas or upgrades

LOL imagine thinking a Nintendo game was obtuse

lmao imagine being a ding-dong with poop in your pants

You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.
