Interesting first round matchups...

Lori Alan/The Boss vs. Rene Auberjonis/Mr. House: Could be a surprisingly close 1/64 matchup between two high quality anti-villain performances. I think Lori Alan takes this and probably easily, but Rene could push her.

Mark Hamill/The Joker vs. Troy Baker/Yuri Lowell: Two highly talented voice actors going at it, with Troy Baker also known for playing Joker at one point. Yuri Lowell isn't his strongest performance, BUT he could still give Hamill's Joker some trouble.

Troy Baker/Joel vs. Simon Templeman/Kain: Templeman could score the upset here, his Kain is iconic and he might be good enough to knock off Baker's Joel. I think Templeman's actually a bit underseeded, but if the seeding sticks this is a fun first round matchup.

Ray Liotta/Vercetti vs. Jennifer Hale/Shepard: Both of these are iconic performances. I think Hale wins this one but it'll be close.

Stephen Merchant/Wheatley vs. Hannah Telle/Max: Another high seed low seed match where the low seed might put up a decent match. Hannah Telle got a lot of praise for her performance, I think she could maybe score the upset.

Steven Ogg/Trevor vs. Gideon Emery/Balthier: Gritty and rough vs. refined and suave. These performances are almost the polar opposite of each other, I love this and it could be very close.

Ashley Johnson/Ellie vs. Alyson Court/Claire: Two of the best female voice actors of all time in two of their most iconic roles. Don't underestimate Alyson Court here. I think Ashley Johnson still wins, but again, she might get pushed in round one.

Nolan North/Martin Walker vs. Matthew Mercer/Yusuke: Two of today's strongest voice actors in roles that they aren't necessarily hugely known for, could come down to name or game recognition. This is real tough to call but really fun.

Charles Martinet/Mario vs. Reuben Langdon/Dante: An all-time legend vs. a modern legend, these are two really popular performances.... Martinet SHOULD take this, but it could be close.

Nolan North/Nathan Drake vs. Cissy Jones/Delilah: This one's just funny because after Cissy Jones won her BAFTA for Delilah, she was fangirling about Nolan North at the post-show interview. She's probably going to lose big here but an upset would be mildly hilarious.

James Arnold Taylor/Tidus vs. Laura Bailey/Abby: Two of the most talented voice actors ever, two of the most controversial (*cough*EXTREMELY UNDERRATED*cough*) voice acting performances of all time. Winner is getting fed to Nolan North (JAT could have a puncher's chance in that one), but this is still gonna be fun. This will be a classic, don't you dare change this one XD

Dameon Clarke/Handsome Jack vs. Yuri Lowenthal/Spider-Man: Two highly praised performances, this is one of the higher quality first round matchups and though Clarke has an edge, this could go either way.
