Look, I'm all about more diversity in movies, I just want it to happen on my own personal timetable, and not be enforced in any way I personally deem to be arbitrary or unnecessary. If underrepresented groups in the industry can't just keep waiting patiently for the privileged to naturally share a slice of said privilege, then that's really no one's problem but their own. There are ways to tackle this issue without incentivizing tokenism. This whole thing is more of a "look how virtuous and not racist we are" moment seeing as it would be pretty hard to fail the given qualifications, but forced representation solves no underlying issues as to why they are underrepresented in the first place.
