You don't need to pledge yourself to a higher being for forgiveness or salvation, because you already are the god. You have the power to shape the reality around you with your hands and mind, and you can create life by sharing yourself with another conscious being. You are not your body, you are the consciousness, the soul, the mass of energy that is piloting the biological machine that is your body. You are both an individual consciousness, and a part of an infinitely greater collective consciousness. The fundamental laws of the universe are shared among all matter and shape everything that exists, from the atom to the galaxy. Everything that exists follows within a set of principles of duality to create balance; positive and negative; light and shadow; good and evil; up and down; heat and cold.
