I've worked in retail so understand the risks of serving folk who are underage but I also understand I wouldn't ask a old lady for I.D. Oh well. Maybe they had an issue we some kids use make-up to make themselves look older... Possibly... Its probably not common. But it could happen. Or maybe they were told they have to check every ID or they would be fired. And maybe they saw someone get fired for not checking an ID of a clearly older person. Or maybe they were on thin ice and knew their boss wanted to fire them. So, they did everything right to make sure they didnt lose their job. I mean, I do understand that it can be bothersome for some people. But it is their job.
