He probably has a number of ardent loyalists who have been thoroughly brainwashed over the years but I'm betting the majority of his voters just have some weird internalized hate for Democrats. It's literally just "fuck liberals". That's the entirety of their ideology. They don't care if it's wrong in every single way.
