Texas, while not likely to flip in 2020, is statistically far more likely to flip based on election trends alone that have been rapidly more favorable to Democrats within the last decade. None of this applies to Republicans in NY, where numerous Rep seats in 2018 that were once solid red were challenged successfully or almost successfully by Dems.
