A sword cane usually sucks at being both a cane, and a sword.

A gun cane usually sucks at being both a cane and a gun.

If you legit want them for defensive purpose, they are an extra bad idea, as deploying them will deprive you of the cane aspect you actually need. You would be far better off with just a pimp ass well made cane, and a handgun on whichever side you don't use the cane on.

Also cane guns are NFA items, which makes them a headache to get, and travel between states with.

Used a lot of cane swords and cane guns in your time have you?

I have a concealed carry license, and I carry a glock in a shoulder holster pretty much any time I am out.

And you must have missed the part where I am getting a standard cane with an antler handle for trips where the gun or stiletto would not be allowed.
