No, I was talking about that too. They brought in a lot of diverse creators when Luke Cage, Black Panthers, etc. were really big. They make books like Vision that are just wildly different than your standard hero fare. But they don't move the needle really. They get canceled faster than most books aside from anomalies like Ms. Marvel.

Vision didn't move the needle? That book won awards! On an anecdotal level, I know of a lot of love for a lot of series that were cancelled prematurely. And I can pretty much guarantee that someone like Tom King or Ta-Nehisi Coates or NK Jemisin is going to sell a lot more books as collected editions than floppies.

So it's a matter of perspective, you are seeing "these issues aren't selling well and got canned" and I see "oh, they didn't actually give these series a chance." It's not necessarily a matter of the creators but the overall Brand Management running directly up against the industry (no one fucking buys floppies, and yet, they determine what gets cancelled).

So what do you expect gets accomplished when they fire a huge amount of people who mostly had no say in the fact that no one fucking buys floppies? Again, the higher-ups sure but you're telling me 1/3 of the people at the company deserve the blame?
