I kinda imagine you must be, if you somehow think this is the norm. Kamala ran an unusually vicious set of attacks against Biden, probably the worst in a presidential primary that I've seen in years. Picking her undermines both of them. If she wants to pretend to be some great racial crusader, deciding to work for somebody she repeatedly criticized as being racist rips the rug out from under her. It's a categorically bad pick. Biden may be ahead in polling, but this is a ridiculous risk with no real payout. Doubly so when you consider the two don't even have much of a prior relationship.
