The article is saying at the start that there is a reported rise in aggressive eye contact since face masks became a thing which can lead to increase harassment of women, girls and minorities.

Everything else is random stats about masks to fluff out the article

Hmm, thats interesting. I guess I can see that. Personally, Ive been avoiding most eye contact in an effort to keep my face away from other peoples (so we dont breathe directly toward each other). I also get how people may try to use their eyes
more what with the reduction in ability to express with the rest of your face.

The few times Ive met up with friends we basically laugh more and raise our head and eyes to signify that we are smiling lol.

I really hope this doesnt lead to increased harassment of women. And if it does I hope pieces like this one can help stem the problem.
