Back in 2002/03, I gave away his Blastoise and Gyarados to my high school history teacher in exchange for extra credit (couldn't risk getting a B), and my brother took it as a top ten anime betrayal. For years, he had 148/150, with my treachery keeping him from a complete original set. About twelve years later, on the day of his pharmacy school graduation, I surprised him with a Blastoise and Gyarados in a graduation card. Combined, they cost less than $25, but the childlike joy on his face was priceless. I was redeemed.
