Even if that were true (don't know), having no homeland of their own hasn't exactly worked out too well for Jews over the past two millennia. Whether being taxed for their faith in Muslim lands (which is honestly the best conditions they had in the Middle Ages...), being relegated to the original ghettos throughout Europe, being tortured to death if they wouldn't convert in Spain (that escalated quickly!), lynch mobs called pogroms in Russia, and of course the Holocaust... ...Maybe it was time to stop taking the Bible/Torah so seriously and being the oppressed minority in every country they lived in?
Christianity has extremists and biblical literalists too. They're also rightfully ignored by everyone else.
