Where the fuck did the protesters get lasers? Because I know for a fact that you can't blind someone with a laser pointer. (1) They don't meet the power requirements to do damage with a quick flash and (2) There's something called the "natural aversion response" which basically means your eye naturally closes when exposed to bright light. That response and the low power of a laser pointer means it can't do damage to your eye unless someone physically holds your eyelid open and shines a laser pointer in it for probably minutes or much longer.
So what kind of laser are these people using? It's not something you bought at Walmart. We're talking about a commercial grade laser that somebody ripped out of something else. That means this was cold and calculated. Somebody planned the attack. They just didn't show up with a commercial grade laser. Someone set out to do this.
That's the work of a psychopath my friends. Don't let the attack on cops distract you from that. Because it's highly unlikely they'll stop at cops now that they got brave enough to go through with it.

They base that AI on people who take the cops' claims at face value.
