I feel like it was a pretty short time with those. i have no idea but this isn't exactly a standard SMT release. it's the highest profile release the franchise has had, and one that was used as a switch launch announcement vehicle. like that trailer doesn't even show us any new environments. it's the same environments we had already seen in the very, very, brief "teasers" we had gotten (that were, similarily, empty environments and occasionally models) it just strikes me as a very odd decision to only show what they showed. one that feels to me like it was an afterthought. feels very much like they don't care to put the same kind of effort into SMT that they do into other things anymore. shine claimed at one point that there were rumors that atlus just plain forgot about this game (probably unsubstantiated rumors based on just how much time passed) but honestly? i believe it. it feels like a rushed book report. that's the vibe this trailer gives me. --- [various robot sounds] ...
