It was simply a bad slogan that some people clung to and then screamed at others for not understanding. It took years for it to finally make a proper impact. That's just bad marketing. The audience in this case that you're trying to ally with is often ignorant. You can't leave room for misinterpretation. No one's going to misunderstand things like "Justice for Breonna" even though it's not catchy. It's weird to say, but I feel like a lot of social issues would benefit from hiring a capable team to help create a campaign.
