Lex is a great dude. He can really only do one thing (use the Hero Axe) but thankfully it's the exact thing you want him to do all the time.

I like Lilina as a character, she's kind of just the "don't treat me like a kid" cliche but it's not a joke for once. She's the heir to Ostia and is ready to take on some of that burden and everyone is still coddling her. As a unit she isn't great, but tbh there's a lot of value in FE6 in someone who hits Res really really fucking hard, even if only once. She's definitely usable.

Nephenee's fine. I feel like her personality changed a lot from FE9 -> FE10 but I could just be misremembering FE9. She's fun for the same reason swordmasters are but def outclassed by the paladins. She gets her time to shine in Part 2 of FE10 and that's about it!

Lon'qu is pretty forgettable. As a sword-locked infantry in a game where all three lords use swords I never really found a place for him. I guess you can reclass him if you want but he's not a super interesting character anyway so onto the bench he goes!

Lorenz is the worst GD during White Clouds without question, but he has Actual Character Development and comes back after the timeskip as a changed man. As a unit he competes with Lysithea in a contest that Lysithea is absolutely going to win every time but that doesn't make him bad. He's solid, Lysithea's just really good.
