The gacha rates are low, but from what I can see, most characters feel pretty powerful enough already I'm on chapter 3 now. Like Dragalia Lost it becomes more important to field a balanced elemental composition than having that one awesome unit. Also I found that while the rates are bad the game launched with it's own version of sparking you can find inside the shop.
