I guess this is how fanfiction writers who give up on their stories feel. Its not a good feeling for sure. I would encourage you not to give up if you can and keep pushing back that wall. It's just super frustrating and disheartening. I've been at this for a long time, and I evidently still haven't made any significant progress.
