A fair wage is what the employee consensually agrees to be paid when he/she accepts employment from their employer. If an individual feels the wage is not fair and/or worthy of what they bring to the table as an employee, they can seek employment elsewhere. Thats it, its that simple.
Unless of course, there is no work to be had that pays well. I'm sure that doesn't happen ever. :-/

Going off on a tangent, the #1 form of theft is wage theft. Consensual contracts don't mean jack when your boss is a crook.
