If you think a couple toppled statues and a burnt police building are "destroying our cities" or whatever, wait until you see what people do when 10s of millions don't have a home and have nothing to eat.I hate to be hyperbolic (and I would never have said it before this year) but it honestly feels like the US is heading towards either a period of mass poverty and inequality, or mass violence. Even in light of the record unrest, almost none of the root problems are being addressed and the best solution the state can come up with is increasing oppression.
