The Zestiria the X anime starts off good and promising, but ends up worse than the game for the most part due to all of the lame pointless Berseria advertisement, lots of inconsistencies with the original plot of the game, pointless filler characters who exist for no good reason and waste precious screen time and fan pandering.Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of needless padding and diverging from the main story already. I'm on episode...9 or 10? And they're just doing different stuff for the sake of doing different stuff. Some of it does help the original plot, but a lot of it just seems unnecessary. Seeing some flashbacks of Eizen and Edna together was real nice, though.
