Pseudomenon 07/17/20 9:37:12 PM #16: | No. I grew up always needing important things and "needing" a lot of dumb shit but only getting the latter. I got a lot of the things I "needed" - like toys and games - especially relative to how poor we were. It was just shit, shit that usually didn't last long. If it did, it never functioned the way I wanted to with regards to all the hurt and strife in my life. I've spent the last few years getting rid of my possessions and buying less pointless shit. I had some valuable stuff that I sold for relatively cheap because the reaction the buyers had was way more meaningful than junk sitting in a closet for years. I just enjoy living a meager life tbh, not worry about anything that I don't need to. Ideally, I'd live off-grid, growing my own food, building what I need, but that's not realistic at the moment and probably not any time soon. --- That's a great idea. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
