Of course older people are going to give an hour of their lives to go out and vote for what they hold to be important. If they're bigoted, they're going to vote pro-bigotry. Taking a knee during the anthem or toppling a statue isn't going to change that. Coming up with a catchy "okay, boomer" meme isn't going to change that. The only thing that's going to keep old people from running America is for young people to challenge them. But I guess if you can't order a new president from a phone app, you needn't bother with the president. An hour at the polling location is an hour that could be spent on Netflix. Besides, surely there will be enough young people motivated to get out and vote in your absence.
