Topic	Would you rather be African in America or African-American in Africa?

I was born in the US, but my parents are from east Africa, and because of that, I've often been regarded as "African" by those who found out regardless of their race. and when I went to visit my parents' homeland, I was seen as a westerner or "muzungu". but I'd be fine with either. It's so wild how people want others to never feel at home. But there are also good people who will try to make anyone in their area feel as comfortable and welcomed as possible.
