No, because herd immunity requires something like 90% infection rates, and essentially requires a vaccine to maintain, and there was no way in hell they hit that number and we don't have a vaccine so.... yea.

Anybody that was saying this was straight up wrong, full-stop, and has no idea what "herd immunity" actually entails.
