The masks, when worn by the vast majority, stop the spread on a macro scale. A plain cloth mask does not prevent you individually from being infected and provides minimal if any protection at all. This is all I ever said, people like 'I Like Toast' come on and have rage-tantrums when they hear this because they interpret it as 'anti-mask'.
