You can try and argue things like Floyd being high or having pre existing conditions accelerating his death all you want, but where is the justification for that type of hold in the first place? Why keep at it when blood is pouring out of his nose and he stops moving? If you verify he has no weapons, why even care that he "could become violent all of a sudden" as a result of drugs, when you have plenty of officers to step in if that were to happen. I do feel for the one officer who apparently was on his 4th day on the force. He tried to help, but was also taking cues from Chauvin, his superior and a veteran of 19 years. But otherwise?
