Baseball has the same aspect as soccer where any given play can be meaningful.

Baseball is a sport that the more you understand it, the better it gets. Defensive shifts; the pitcher, batter, umpire mind games; base runner strategy, bullpen usagage; lineup changes. Plus it has the best playoffs. Doesn't have 2/3 of the league make it. Only day off is travel days and waiting for the opposing series to finish.

It's a dying sport and has been dying for years. "It's better because it's soooo boring, when something finally DOES happen, it makes it more exciting!!!" is the dumbest logic ever. It's like sitting at home watching paint dry, and getting fucking ecstatic when a guy trying to sell you solar panels knocks on your door.
