A lot of the bashing isn't too harsh, but it's not...tolerant. I can't imagine many Western millennials really attacking (verbally) someone in a public place, just for wearing a skullcap, or headscarf (or anything else that would make it clear they were religious), but there's certainly that hostility towards religious people, even contempt.
