Session musicians dont make fuck all so the background music aint ever getting you within throwing distance. The rest still requires luck and a ton of hard work before you even have a chance to work on any project thatll potentially pay hundreds of thousands let alone millions. its a tiny percentage of musicians who ever make anything close to that and many of those who did definitely didnt get there because they were the most talented. If the skill is the main thing thats totally reasonable but if youre choosing the skill cause it has greater earning potential thats a bad call all around.
