It means that 90 percent of the time they aren't hunting. They are lazing around under a tree. Yeah, they eat meat, and can be aggressive, but most of the time they actually are quite tame, some even enjoy being around humans.

I mean, if you want to bring up actual predators then I bring up the Dragonfly who has a 99 percent chance of catching its prey and eats hundreds of flies and mosquitos a day. Not to mention that their brain allows them to predict where their prey is going to be, before the prey even knows itself.
