And yes his primary motivation is because the governor is a Democrat and he is Republican so he doesn't feel he has to listen. He's like "the governor can't take my freedom away". No but he can close everything down again and take everyone's jobs away if enough people don't follow the mask order moron. I hate that masks (and other regulations and restrictions due to COVID) are now a "political" thing. This whole notion of "My rights! My freedom!" is utterly ridiculous. The MAGA legion is convinced this is an overblown case of the sniffles that "those damn democrats" are trying to use to stop Trump from getting reelected. And because Trump perpetuates these notions, they see that as a thumbs up to refuse to follow healthy guidelines all because they have to stick it to "those damn democrats". -_- ...
