I've spent many years in SE Asia. Sometimes when someone sees a black person they say something about them being a N-word. I always ask why do you call them that, that's a bad word. ( I also say STFU or they'll kick your ass. They ask me WHY????? )

They say they get it from the black music, music videos etc... they get if from the black people. If black people hate that word SO MUCH stop using it!!!! And stop saying it "empowers" you. People around the world don't and won't understand. I tried explaining the "taking back the word" to the Asian people....they are like WTF???
