They view anyone who disagrees with them as enemies of all things good and decent, and double down on their love of a fucking cheeto. The difference between him and any half decent president is that he makes no attempt or pretense of wanting to work with or help anyone that he dislikes. He paints a permanent target on them and disown them as sub-people unworthy of acknowledgement on any civil level.
