Im a trucker and I have seen small family businesses shut down left and right across the country, it makes me sad. The worse part is the jobs that do remain will be big corperate giants who will tell you to fuck off. The past 4 months has seen a sudden shift in trucking where mega corps took over most of the volume in freight. Right now im sitting in a target distribution center for the past 15hours to unload 4 fkn pallets. They wont let me personally unload for safety and liability reasons, even with a waiver. They bascially told me to fuck off. Fourth of July is canceled for me. This sort of nonsense would never fly with the smaller family businesses ... Copied to Clipboard! |
