| Panthera 07/03/20 3:30:22 PM #6: | Sigurd CH 7 Roy CH 4 Joshua CH 7 Cordelia CH 6 Peri CH 1 Sigurd UN 10 Roy UN 3 Joshua UN 5 Cordelia UN 8 Peri UN 5 Character wise, Sigurd isn't the most interesting guy ever and his love story is ass but he works for the story he's in and is good enough to not undermine it. Roy is dull but at least he's inoffensive. Joshua is alright overall and gets a bonus point for having the best boss conversation in the series. Cordelia is pretty good when they're not harping on the obnoxious Chrom thing, unfortunately she spends a lot of time on it. Peri is a war crime against good taste. Even accounting for the fact that I kind of grade FE characters on a generous/lenient scale she's still awful. Unit wise Sigurd is the best in the series. Roy is...not, though at least he gets a couple of chapters where he can contribute a bit and he doesn't really hurt you any for existing except on a couple of the most siege tome spammy maps. Joshua is a solid filler unit for a while but he falls off quick due to lackluster strength/durability and having that classic FE7-9 recipe for disaster of being a sword locked foot unit. Cordelia is one of the few units that gets you something special for investing in her in Awakening. Peri is...serviceable I guess? I've never really paid close attention to her and I can't see her being anything special but she's probably alright filler. --- Meow! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
