The best way to go is to average the market, by budgeting a fixed amount of money every month or quarter or whatever period of time is appropriate for you, and keep buying shares with that sum. Over time the money you invest will even out with the highs and lows canceling out. I don't think there is ever been a time in the history of the market like this, in which the value of the market so grossly exceeds the employment situation and profits of individual businesses that are going bankrupt en masse. --- Well allons-y, Alonso! ...
