To correct the damage of the biggest crime in human history that took place over a span of centuries there will be a high price tag It's not punishment it's repayment and just compensation for work done, free labor and state sanctioned oppression that the USA benefited from which is what put it on top of the world as the wealthiest nation for all of these years. The funds come from the USA and all who benefit from the society we live in today, including the wealthy corporations who have built off legacy money from slave labor (Lehman Brothrrs, JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America etc.) It's not just coming from White people. Technically if it comes from the USA even Blacks would be paying into their own Reparations.
