He has no knowledge of how the law works then. A ton of companies have contracts that allow for the footage to be reused and repurposed as they see fit. It's why, say, WWE can use footage of wrestlers who are dead or who are not currently a part of WWE. They could start airing footage of Owen Hart despite his wife clearly not wanting them to.
