In this case, I feel Elon is the ladder. If you want the truth, you should being testing people. Put their claims through heavy scrutiny even if you look like a dumbass through it. The most successful hedgefund in the US, Bridgewater Associates, has exactly this kind of atmosphere. They'll straight up call any claim you make "S***" and force you to justify why you think you're correct. 4chan has this cutthroat culture as well. I implore you guys to go on there and try to make money off of them or learn something from them so you can really understand appreciate how important having such a culture is. Reading through the twitter conversation, I don't see anything wrong with Elon's questions. It seems he's trying to account for the discrepancy of the virologist's source of the Arizona's hospitalization rate increasing while his source of the US cases of new cases and death rate falling at the same pace during the same time period.
